Do you want to be part of a World Class Fellowship programme in Ireland? We are now accepting proposals for the 2025 Aspire Post CSCST Fellowship. Learn more about how you can be part of it and advance your specialist area.

Aspire is an NDTP-funded world-class Post CSCST Fellowship Programme in Ireland. (PGTB) identifies and recruits fellowships for its training community.


RCSI would like to invite you to submit a proposal for the 2025 Aspire Post CSCST Fellowship program funded by NDTP.

We are accepting applications until May 31st and we will be confirming fellowships in Autumn, 2024.

Through the Aspire Post CSCST Fellowship program, we aim to harness the exceptional talent of Ireland’s CSCST graduates and partner them with passionate medical consultants, with a goal of enhancing care and driving innovation and medical leadership in important areas of subspecialties.

 Some of the benefits you can expect:

  • Gain a new senior team member for the duration of the fellowship
  • An enhanced capacity to innovate/ progress research and publications
  • The opportunity to design a curriculum for a fellow in a particular area of interest
  • Support in training an exceptional individual to meet the needs of a subspecialty

2025 Programme Timeline

March 31st - May 31st 2024: Call for proposals

May 31st - July 31st 2024: The Postgraduate Training Body establishes a panel for the review and selection of fellowships with input from relevant faculty and NCAGL/NCPs

August 2nd: Fellowships will be confirmed

September 2nd: Fellowship positions will be advertised

October 31st 2024: Final date for prospective fellows to apply for positions
