BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue17
This will be the last HR bulletin over the summer months as we collectively take a well-earned break to rest and recharge ready for the next academic year. We are encouraged to see that many staff have booked extended time away over the coming months, let’s hope this good weather stays with us!
BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue16
As we approach the end of May and some long awaited warmer temperatures, we would encourage those of you who have not yet booked your summer leave to consider doing so now. Most of us have been working at a heightened pace for the past 15 months now, we want to ensure that every member of staff takes some well-deserved annual leave to really disconnect and recharge after this unprecedented period of activity.
BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue15
We are cautiously optimistic with the beginning of the reopening of society this week as is evidenced by all the lovely haircuts seen on MS Teams meetings this week! We would like to stress the importance of remaining vigilant and practicing good Covid safety measures by maintaining the 2 metre distance, wearing face coverings when inside and ensuring good hand hygiene.
BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue 13
We hope you are taking advantage of the sunnier Spring weather and the novelty of extending your walking or running route past the confines of our recent 5k limit. We would like to firstly congratulate the IT ‘Christopher Walkin Team…
BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue 11
This week we marked the one year anniversary of our campus closing as part of the Government’s response to the pandemic. It is a year that we will never forget, when our work and personal lives were changed in so many ways
BeRCSI Bulletin – Issue 10
This is the last Friday in February signaling the end of another month of 2021. We are all feeling the effects of living through this pandemic, some of us have lost loved ones to Covid-19, some of us are struggling with living in isolation or juggling caring & work responsibilities and we have all had to stay away from those we hold dearest to keep them safe
BeRCSI – Issue 9
We hope that you are keeping safe and well as we continue to weather this challenging period together. While it is wonderful to see the continued roll out of the vaccination programme, transmission rates in the community in Ireland are still high and our hospitals and clinical colleagues remain under considerable pressure
BeRCSI – 11th December 2020
This will be the last #BeRCSI bulletin before we break for the end of the year, and what a year it has been. Time and again we have been amazed by how each and every staff member has stepped up to the challenges 2020 has thrown at us. Taking time to reflect on the successes RCSI has had in spite, or indeed, in response, to the pandemic, the thing we are most humbled by, is how the RCSI community has adapted, innovated, connected and supported each other in a truly unique year in RCSI history.
BeRCSI – 27th November
As we anticipate the loosening of restrictions next week and begin to prepare for an unusual countdown to the holidays and hopefully some much needed downtime with our loved ones, we are delighted to inform you that the additional ‘Staff appreciation day’ of leave is now set up on your Core portal.
BE RCSI – 13th November
We are over half way through the Level 5 restriction period and we would like to commend your resilience and the continued support shown for your fellow colleagues over the last few weeks through the #thankacolleague initiative
