Our regulatory affairs function ensures that we meet all national and international regulatory and compliance requirements and is underpinned by the Medical Practitioners Act 2007.
We work collaboratively with our stakeholders to ensure that our surgical and emergency medicine programmes are accredited by the Medical Council of Ireland. We also ensure that we support the on-going Medical Council regulatory requirements to maintain the accreditation status of the individual postgraduate medical education and training programmes we offer.
In addition to the above, we ensure that we meet the requirements of our intercollegiate governance arrangements and other relevant European legislative and compliance requirements (e.g., supporting the Network of Accredited Clinical Skills Centres in Europe (NASCE) accreditation process, etc.).
